Exhibition design for the tradeshow booth of a veteran animation studio in Toronto.
I had the wonderful opportunity to work on this exhibition design project with Nelvana during my Design Management internship. The animation studio that was the brain behind some of the shows I used to be hooked on as a child (Jimmy Neutron, Fairly Odd Parents) was in need for a redesign of their existing tradeshow booth. This was initially supposed to be a graphic design internship, but as my expertise matched their needs, I was tasked with this project.
The booth needed a contemporary twist but also needed to retain parts of the existing signage, and had to be splashed with the graphics of their best performing kids animated series.
This was a fun project to work on, as I was given considerable design freedom, as long as I anchored my design direction along the non-negotiables.
Conditions: Key light will be provided by tradeshow organizers.
